This little book saw the light of day in 1995 and has come a long way since: It has passed through many hands, helped many Germans with their "Entpiefkenisierung," and even had the opportunity to step onto political ground during the visit of the German Foreign Minister in Vienna in 2022. Because not all the words listed in it are considered socially acceptable, its terms were removed from the welcome walls at Vienna Airport. Now it's time for a relaunch. Migration movements and changes in our living environment have given rise to new terms, while old ones like "Wortdenkmäler" are being rediscovered and cherished. The new edition fills the gaps that have emerged with an appropriate dose of humor.
