Wie Bildungsurlaub wirkt

Although educational leave laws have existed for over 40 years in 14 out of 16 federal states, they are controversially discussed as an educational policy instrument. The study, for the first time from a subjective scientific research perspective, demonstrates the effects of multiple participation in political and professional educational leave events. A total of 27 individuals were surveyed, who attended events in political and professional education between three and forty times. The effects are evident in changed attitudes and mindsets towards lifelong learning, as well as in enhanced judgment and critical thinking skills, and in educational advancements for some participants.
