The biblical-Christian message about life after death is told to children. Suitable for children aged 6 and up. The book is based on children's love for animals and their need for security. All animals and people have a home. But what happens when death tears them from their world? People are then at home with God, and the author allows children to glimpse into heaven. In a narrative way, the hints and images that Jesus provided about life after death are presented: the house with many rooms, Jesus comforting the weary and burdened, joy and music, leading up to the great feast. In the appendix, the author offers brief, concise prompts on how parents, kindergarten teachers, or educators can talk to children about death and support them in their grief after a loss.
