Hans Küng († April 6, 2021) not only influenced a circle of theologians who worked at his chair and later at his institute. Through his numerous theological works, he made fundamental themes of Christianity accessible to a wide interested public, thus opening up the possibility for a contemporary faith. In memory of Hans Küng, a number of theologians and church representatives gathered for a symposium on October 15, 2021, in Nuremberg, all of whom come from the Archdiocese of Bamberg and were 'educated' by Hans Küng. This volume collects the contributions: alongside theological highlights, it also includes testimonies of significant personal encounters. The concluding memorial service held at the church 'Our Lady' in Nuremberg is also documented.
