As magical guardians of our world, the W.I.T.C.H. reached millions of fans in the early 2000s with their TV series and comic book series. Old and new fans will discover here how it all began: In the midst of infinity, in the fortress of Kandrakar, resides the Oracle: the power that maintains balance in the universe. To achieve this, it appoints guardians to protect the great web that separates the human world from other dimensions. However, the web is weakening, and more and more portals to our reality are opening.

Equipped with the power of the four elements, the new guardians Will, Irma, Taranee, Cornelia, and Hay-Lin confront the great threat to their world: Prince Phobos, who illegitimately occupies the throne of Meridian, seeks to conquer their dimension as well. Additionally, he has lured the rightful heir to the throne and friend of the W.I.T.C.H., Elyon, to Meridian. The girls must face him—while also managing the everyday challenges of being normal teenagers.
