Although organizations provide the means to generate, replicate, and especially justify the use of knowledge in products and services that are desirable for society, they themselves cannot create knowledge. Therefore, it is the organization's task to create the right context for individual activities to facilitate the creation, dissemination, retention, and application of knowledge, enriching the organization as a whole and the environment in which it operates.
