During a measurement campaign, approximately 120 noise sequences were recorded in various substations across four voltage levels (25 kV, 230 kV, 315 kV, and 735 kV). The book proposes a characterization process that enables the measurement of physical characteristics of partial discharges using statistical methods. Additionally, chapters 4 and 5 explore the modeling of electromagnetic disturbances caused by partial discharge sources and present a coherent model that links the physical properties of high-voltage installations with the induced radio interference spectra.
