Excited and expectant, we looked into the future back then! Join us in reminiscing about the first 18 years of life - your childhood and youth! Born in 1969, we were the children of the hippie era. The first human set foot on the moon, hippies gathered at Woodstock, and our parents could only rent an apartment with a marriage certificate. We are the children of the pill generation, growing up in a world filled with toy stores, three television channels, brightly colored wallpaper, bell-bottoms, and Pril flowers. After the Chernobyl disaster, we didn't eat mushrooms for years, wrote essays about Boris Becker, and shared our first kiss to Nena's "99 Luftballons." Nothing can easily knock us down anymore.
