"Welcome to Germany - Speaking Time" includes individualized, differentiated communication opportunities for all topics in the curriculum for German as a second language. Two children engage in a dialogue of questions and answers. The questions and answers are provided at three differentiated levels with varying levels of support. For self-checking, the solutions for each question and answer are located on the back of the display cards. All words and sentences are equipped with a colored syllable divider in blue/red.

The interaction among students promotes the use of vocabulary in dialogue, practice of question forms, practice of overarching concepts, and adds variety to the lessons. An individualized approach is possible, as well as independent work. "Welcome to Germany - Speaking Time" complements the exercise books "Welcome to Germany German as a Second Language" I and II.
