Chögyam Trungpa offers much more than just an introduction to the fundamentals of psychology. He describes various states of consciousness, explores the connections between feelings, perceptions, and thoughts, allowing us to closely understand how the ego develops. Through skillful means, particularly meditation, we gain insight into this process and learn to recognize the opportunity to reverse it in a certain way. This is not particularly good news for the ego. Instead, the inner potential of our mind can take its place: Any experiences, especially problematic ones, can be transformed and become fuel for self-liberation.
