Wie Kinder fühlen lernten

Feelings are innate and have always been the same? Not at all. It is only in the confrontation with their social and cultural environment that children learn how and what one is allowed to feel and how to express these feelings. The 13 authors show that feelings and ideas about "feeling right" have changed massively over the past 150 years. They use children's books and guidebooks for this purpose, because children do not only observe the behaviour of others. They also take their cues from fictional characters they encounter in stories and films.
