If you could fish for happiness, there would certainly be more people sitting on the shore! Greta learned this saying from Miss Luise. She's almost eighty, but Greta's dear friend. But when Luise is sent to a home, the 10-year-old is certain: she must get the young lady out of there! A little later, the two of them are actually sitting in an old car on a journey towards Luise's past. Along the way they pick up young Sam, and finally they are joined by a mongrel dog, Moses, who appoints the three travellers as his new masters. A journey begins, which is more adventurous than any roller coaster ride.
