Abstract: This paper presents a theoretically grounded elaboration of a presentation on the topic 'Presentation as a Key Competence'. The aim of the presentation is to inform participants within the given time of 20 minutes about the design of a presentation. Based on a previously conducted audience analysis, the preparation of a presentation and its practical implementation will be addressed. The core messages 'Success lies in preparation' and 'The first impression counts, the last one remains' will be conveyed to the audience during the presentation. Initially, the concept and design of a presentation in general will be discussed, followed by a reflection on potential learning insights based on the conducted example with the aforementioned goal.
