Wie Corona die Hochschullehre verändert

As a result of the Covid 19 pandemic, higher education institutions in Germany, Austria and Switzerland were forced to temporarily abandon traditional face-to-face teaching in the Corona semesters 2020 to 2022 and to switch to online teaching within a very short time. For the first time in the history of higher education, all institutions, all teachers and also all students had to deal with the accompanying digital forms and technologies of teaching at the same time. This book documents, on the one hand, how the universities and the teachers reacted to the challenges of the Corona semesters and what experiences were gained with online teaching. On the other hand, it discusses how these developments could permanently change teaching at universities. The individual articles deliberately include a variety of perspectives: the perspective of university administrations, central support institutions and the views of teachers and students.The fundamental objective of the book is to process the extensive experiences made in the Corona semesters as an opportunity to develop improved approaches for future university teaching.In the revised second edition, the focus is therefore on the numerous experiences made in the Corona semesters 2020 to 2022.
