The care of geriatric patients through geriatrics-specific services is a health and social policy task. Based on extensive analyses, the Federal Association of Geriatrics has been regularly presenting the structural challenges of geriatric care in the White Paper on Geriatrics since 2010 and describes appropriate solutions.
