W.E.S.T. T.4 46 Staat

January 1902. Cuba has been occupied by the American army for four years. Members of the W.E.S.T. team are sent to Havana to eliminate Islero, a mysterious Santero who turns American soldiers into zombies and incites the Cuban people. Only a few hours remain until the first democratic elections in Cuba's history. The nationalist candidate Bartolomeo Mas has had to withdraw his candidacy, and the only remaining candidate, Tomas Palma, is a pro-American puppet. Meanwhile, the members of W.E.S.T. realize that the true purpose of their mission is to enable United Fruit to appropriate Cuba's wealth. Kathryn Lennox, who is on the verge of uncovering Islero's secret, falls ill with yellow fever. Kathryn is presumed dead and is buried by Islero himself!.
