Wer schneller läuft ist länger tot

It all begins in May 1986 with a bizarre discovery of a dead body in Nettetal. The victim is a well-known runner from Mayen who was apparently murdered during training. A javelin of the type used in athletics is found in his chest. Inspector Weller, himself a passionate runner, quickly begins an investigation. Initial clues lead him to suspect that the perpetrator or perpetrators are to be found in the murdered man's sporting environment. But who would commit a cold-blooded murder here? For what motive? And are other athletes' lives in danger? Dramatic events take their course ....
