The revised edition of the "World of Numbers" has been precisely developed to align with the current educational curriculum for Baden-Württemberg. It places great emphasis on a clear structure that facilitates navigation both on individual pages and throughout the book as a whole. The various content areas in the student book are color-coded according to the content-related competencies outlined in the curriculum. The process-related competencies to be acquired are identifiable in the table of contents. The tasks in the student book and accompanying materials are marked according to the three areas of requirements of the educational standards. Through meaningful learning opportunities, children are encouraged to explore their own paths, articulate them, and reflect on them together. This creates a vocabulary repository that connects technical language with fundamental concepts. In the interest of transparency regarding goals, children are prompted to assess their own work results and gradually take responsibility for their further learning. Motivating task formats provide a gentle progression in difficulty, allowing for natural differentiation: children work at different levels and paces on the same topic. The encouragement for independent productions boosts their self-confidence. The digital teacher materials on DVD offer not only comments and a wealth of additional resources but also the student book as an e-book, which can be used for presentations in class. A comprehensive range of supplementary materials from the "Numbers Workshop," such as resources for support and challenge, deepens and expands the offerings of the student book. In addition to workbooks, posters, and similar items, interactive exercises for use on tablets or PCs are also available. For inclusive teaching with "World of Numbers," additional workbooks are specifically available for children who are taught with different goals in a primary school class.
