&nbsp,

The new WELT DER ZAHL fulfils the requirements of the general educational standards and the Lower Saxony core curriculum in the best possible way.

The rich learning offer creates a solid link between the content-related skills areas (numbers and operations, space and form, patterns and structures, quantities and measurement, data and chance) and the process-related skills (communicating and arguing, modelling, representing, problem solving).

The wide range of tasks tailored to the respective learning phase contains suggestions for joint teaching phases as well as opportunities for differentiation.

The tasks in the textbook and in the accompanying materials are differentiated and labelled according to the three requirement areas defined in the educational standards. Tasks labelled as 'crown tasks' contain differentiated questions at different levels. The children explore problematic situations, try to find solutions independently, go their own way and discover inconsistencies and patterns.

An extensive range of additional materials provides further suggestions for personalising lessons. The newly developed collections of materials for 'encouraging' and 'challenging', for example, help to support and encourage each individual child. The collections of materials for arithmetic and geometry deepen and expand on the material in the Sch&uuml, lerbuch.

The use of whiteboards is taken into account by a newly developed range of interactive blackboard pictures.

New: Special exercise books have been developed for inclusive teaching with WORLD OF NUMBERS - especially for children who are taught in a primary school class with different needs.
