More cars and roads, more clothing and living space, more meat and fish consumption? A future where there is more of everything and the world becomes fairer as a result is highly unlikely. In light of the global climate and biodiversity crisis, a "more of everything for everyone" approach as a recipe for securing prosperity and peace is doomed to fail. But what alternative futures do we, as residents of a prosperous country, want to strive for? Are we only responsible for our individual actions – or are there goals that we can only pursue together?

This book describes the event format of the Future Workshop, which encourages people of all ages to think together about their vision of a "Good Life for All." Because there are limits to material growth, a shift from the dogma of growth to the principle of sufficiency is inevitable. What we need are visions, values, and ideas for collective action that will lead us to a sustainable future.
