"You will never amount to anything!" With this belief, Christian Liniger grew up. Born as the sixth of seven children in Belp, there was no room for him at home. He spent the first year of his life in the hospital, in the room of a deaconess, and was then placed in a foster home. At the age of seven, he was transferred for the fourth and final time to a farm near Belp. There, he was allowed to do small tasks and found joy in them. Despite everything, Christian Liniger became someone – he found his calling as a police officer and his personal happiness as a family man.
