Ecological behavior is based on inner conviction. However, the call for sustainability often remains an empty appeal. The author explores educational and learning approaches for a socio-ecological pedagogy of the learning organization, which purposefully embeds ecological education in the social context. Based on program analyses and dialogue interviews as empirical reconstructions, the author develops an educational theoretical model with twelve learning pathways to ecological education for and within organizations. The focus is on how participants can responsibly shape their living and working environments. The results are presented using the educational theoretical categories of self-relation, other-relation, and world-relation. The interactions and interaction relationships within the organization become visible. Ecological education can be described educationally as a life-world knowledge process and an approach to problem-solving.
