WBV Digitale Transformation in der Berufsbildung

With a view to social progress and economic performance, the digital backlog in the German education system must be made up. In this context, vocational education and training plays a key role in the digital transformation due to its close links to the economy. The articles in the anthology present occupation-specific aspects and cross-cutting issues in which digital media open up new possibilities for action at the content and methodological level: Organisation of training, professionalisation of teachers, digitally supported examination tasks, cooperation between learning venues, changes in didactics through the use of digital media such as learning analytics dashboards, augmented reality and virtual reality, individualisation of learning processes, diagnosis of learning statuses, inclusion and vocational participation opportunities through digital technologies, and forms of political socialisation and agency as a task of vocational education and training. The anthology concludes with a look into the future and ideas for the vocational school 2030.
