Wassergeschichten. Panta Rhei - alles fliesst

More than two thirds of the earth is covered with water. We encounter it constantly and in all states of aggregation: Water vapour rises and forms clouds, which in turn bring rain - a cycle of life, nothing is lost and nothing is added: water is thus a symbol of eternal change. Everything comes from it, it is an important (super)food and we ourselves consist of it to 80 per cent. Water exerts a great fascination, has something magical about it and always remains mysterious. Reason enough to approach the topic from a cultural-historical perspective in order to grasp the fascination and hold on to it, at least for a while. The fluid stories range from antiquity to the present.
