Somewhere in the city centre there is a cinema - founded in 1961, it still only shows retro films and is called the "New Theatre". Tucked away in one of the cramped and stuffy projection rooms behind the audience seats, Wakaba, a super-cool but somewhat reserved projectionist, silently puts one film after another into the projector. But even if she doesn't know it, she has collected many secret admirers... Exciting stories about the everyday life of a retro cinema girl, drawn by promising newcomer mangaka Aoyama Katsumi.
