Vor- und Nachteile von Mehrsprachigkeit im Deutschunterricht

Today there are children in schools who are growing up and being educated multilingually. This raises the question that this paper will deal with. A question that also calls our current education system into question and whose answer should shed light on the issue. Can multilingualism be an advantage in German lessons? The following pages are intended to decipher the answer to this question and provide readers with new insights into this topic. But before the main question can be answered, there is another question that is just as important: What exactly is multilingualism? These consequences, which have not only been caused by the general migration movement in Germany, but also by the so-called ¿refugee crisis¿ in 2015, are not necessarily negative, but they are forcing our education system to change.
