Product details
Clara Louise was born in Lahnstein in Germany in 1992 and grew up there. She attended a grammar school until the age of 16 and then decided to move to Salzburg in Austria for love. There she works as a lyricist and musician. "I started writing poetry when I was 13. Then and now, to get rid of thoughts that I can't express. For me, writing is a kind of liberation and it often touches me deeply when other people can identify with it. These experiences in writing and music are the most valuable for me and ultimately led me to publish my first book," says Clara Louise. Growing up as the middle child of three children, Clara experienced her childhood primarily as being interested in art. She played the violin, danced ballet, wrote poetry, drew, sang and wrote her first songs. Always with the need to express herself with words and to find her way between melodies. In addition to the texts, which are sometimes heavy, sometimes light, but always inspire us to dream, the pages are filled with illustrations by the twenty-something. Even as a child, Clara Louise loved writing, drawing and making music, and at the beginning of 2018, Clara Louise was on tour as a support act with the successful band GLASHAUS (Cassandra Steen). In her songs, Clara Louise combines lyricism with melodies, but it can be said that the poems dig a little deeper emotionally and create a stirring effect even without musical accompaniment. The new album "Wenn man nichts mehr vermisst", which complements the artist's first poetry collection, will be released on 18 January 2019.
