Von Artificial zu Augmented Intelligence

Palantir is one of the most secretive companies around. This is mainly due to the fact that the globally successful company has so far only rarely commented on its own actions. That is now over: In their book, the insider authors - including founder and CEO Alex Karp himself - present their corporate philosophy of 'augmented intelligence' for the first time and share their insights on dealing with artificial intelligence in an increasingly digital world.
In doing so, the book shows above all - as has become apparent in Palantir's practical work - that artificial intelligence alone is only of limited use. Only the interpretation of AI data by humans enables meaningful and profitable results. Surprisingly, the authors focus on the creative arts and argue for a new form of 'digital education' to show how the vision of a better future, created by humans and AI, can succeed. To this end, they interviewed renowned entrepreneurs, academics and artists throughout Germany.
