Product details

This book has the task of quickly turning non-swimmers, whether young or old, into safe swimmers. It is not about learning specific swimming techniques, but exclusively about being able to stay and move successfully in the water. The authors proceed systematically in three learning sub-goals, which focus on getting used to water and mastering water in order to make water a familiar element and prepare for later jumping, diving, ball games, etc. The third part, moving around in the water, is about getting used to water. The third part, locomotion in water, finally deals with the actual learning goal, namely to be able to swim safely. The book is aimed at teachers and career changers in general education schools as well as at exercise instructors and accompanying persons in swimming courses. However, many important exercises, especially for getting used to water, can also be prepared at home, e.g. at the sink or in the bathtub, so that this book is recommended to everyone who wants to go from non-swimmer to swimmer in a short time.
