Volunteer Management Prozess

An important contribution to the success of UEFA EURO 2008 was made by the 5,000 or so volunteers, whose commitment and willingness to help made a decisive contribution to the impression that the millions of visitors took home with them. The book Volunteer Management Process reflects retrospectively on the volunteer programme of Euro 2008 SA and aims to provide insights into the success factors of managing a large volunteer organisation. The author, Ralph Patrick Weder, provides an introductory overview of the distribution of roles at UEFA EURO 2008 and presents the basics of personnel management as well as aspects of volunteer management in Switzerland. Based on this, eight success factors of management are defined and integrated into a volunteer management process, which is subjected to an analysis in the practical part. Thanks to its process structure.
