Product details

For several years, there have been quality management and quality assurance standards for the development, delivery, and maintenance of software (e.g., DIN ISO 9000-3) and a five-level maturity model for assessing an institution's development process. Many software companies and departments have since certified their development standards according to these norms. However, there has not been a significant leap in the quality and defect-free nature of software products. This is primarily because the aforementioned DIN focuses only on the quality of the development process and not on the quality of the products produced, and because most institutions have not yet reached the top two levels of the maturity model, where both quantitative and qualitative product characteristics are first considered. Therefore, this book focuses on the reviews.
