Multiplan 3.0

Before starting to work with Multiplan, you should carry out some preliminary tasks. This includes formatting a diskette, loading the Multiplan software package, understanding the screen layout, and familiarizing yourself with the keyboard.

1.1 Formatting an Empty Diskette

To work with Multiplan, you need at least the program diskette and a diskette where your data (data diskette) can be stored. In order to save your data on a diskette, it must be formatted beforehand. You can format a diskette as follows:

1. Turn on your device.
2. Insert the operating system diskette into drive A:.
3. Insert the empty diskette into drive B:.
4. When you see the display A on the screen, your operating system is loaded, and you can enter the command to format.
5. Write the instruction after the display A.
