Cloud computing, big data, cyber security, Industry 4.0, etc. may just be buzzwords, but they also represent new, complex challenges that pose significant difficulties in their management and control. Therefore, once again, this time at the invitation of EIT ICT Labs in Berlin, renowned security experts and decision-makers have come together to discuss and illuminate these topics. The extensive surveillance of citizens and institutions that became known in mid-2013 has further increased the relevance of the conference theme: the manageability of cloud and similar technologies.
