After Penguin, his last student, opens his own school, the old whale professor swims alone through the whale sea. Longingly, he waits for a response to the letters he has sent out into the world. One day, he receives not only a letter from a young whale but also a whole lot of visitors: His old whale friends, who used to frolic with him at the Cape of Whales, suddenly appear on the horizon. Even Waltraud, his first love, is among them! Together, the whales reminisce: Didn't they always hold the Olympic Games in the past? They decide to organize a new edition.
