Swiss artist and theorist Hannes Rickli (*1959) has been exploring audiovisual material from the scientific context since 1991. The video images and sounds from behavioral research on insects and fish provide extensive insights into scientific experimental systems: Rickli's artistic reflections reveal that the establishment of scientific facts does not follow predetermined plans, but arises from the physical resistance between human, technical, and animal actors.
