The book addresses fundamental questions of administrative procedures within the European administrative framework. In a transdisciplinary dialogue between legal science and legal practice, it first traces the previous Europeanization of administrative procedure laws and explores the opportunities for codifying administrative procedure law at the EU level. It then discusses the significance of German and European fundamental rights, as well as the principles of effectiveness and efficiency for administrative procedures. Finally, it examines current developments in the area of procedural errors and electronic communication within the administration.
