This book sheds light on the data attack strategy known as Black Hole Attack in MANET under the Ad-hoc on Demand Distance Vector (AODV). The proposed solution first detects and prevents this attack, and then mitigates it by using an intelligently transformed source node, which I have named the Fox node. I proposed a honey pot technique to make AODV networking more secure. In this modern era, there is a need to create a safer network environment to eliminate hacking and make attempts by eavesdroppers unsuccessful.
