The graves of the celebrities who chose to be buried by the Rhine are rather plain and suddenly tell the intriguing story of the Bonn Republic, its politics, media, and culture from today's perspective. Journalist Ebba Hagenberg-Miliu invites readers to stroll through text and images, leading to the graves of former Godesberg idols, as well as heroes, perpetrators, and victims. And suddenly, yesterday becomes very relevant to us today. The book originated from a series of articles in the General-Anzeiger Bonn in 2022 and 2023.
