The preservation of the environment and the conservation of natural resources are crucial for any development. To address the environmental impacts associated with cement production, it is essential to develop alternative binders for concrete composition. This study examines the feasibility of fly ash, glass powder, and concrete rubble as partial substitutes for cement or natural coarse aggregates. The process is divided into two stages. In the first stage, 25% of the cement is replaced with varying proportions of fly ash and glass powder. Subsequently, the compressive and flexural strengths are tested after 7, 14, and 28 days and compared with those of conventional concrete. The combination of 75% cement and 25% fly ash yielded satisfactory results concerning the tested properties. In the second phase, the same optimal ratio of cement and fly ash was used, with partially replaced natural coarse aggregates by recycled concrete aggregates in the concrete mix. For the tests, the recycled aggregates were obtained from crushed concrete cubes of grade M25 in the laboratory.
