Public Management in Bosnien-Herzegovina, Kroatien und Serbien

In addition to the ongoing efforts to use the resources of public administration as efficiently as possible, the focus on performance and impact according to the principles of Public Management is becoming increasingly important. As part of modernization efforts in state administration, the connection between input and output, as well as the measurability of performance and impact, are increasingly being formulated as objectives of the reforms. This analysis is interested in the application of these reform aspects during the significant changes in public administrations in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, and Serbia. The aim of this analysis is to assess to what extent the principles of Public Management are being considered in the current phase of modernization of the central state administration in the three countries and how the prospects for the application of individual concepts and methods of Public Management in the future can be evaluated.
