Psychiatrisches Case Management

The pursuit of greater efficiency and effectiveness in the care of sick individuals within the German healthcare system has led to an increased engagement with various forms of care and alternatives in recent years. New care methods and programs not only attract the interest of stakeholders, primarily due to the enormous cost pressure of recent years, but also pique the curiosity of service providers. In this context, the term "Case Management" is gaining increasing importance in healthcare. In the psychiatric care of chronically mentally ill individuals, Case Management is no longer an unknown concept. The term itself appears to be very comprehensive and is better understood as a collective term encompassing a variety of different contents and focuses.
