The diversity and volume of information flow in healthcare are indeed significant, but they also lead to users struggling to cope with this flood of information. To address the growing information flow, an electronic health record has been developed in recent years, thanks to constant technological advancements. This electronic health record, which provides access to electronic libraries, allows for the extraction of patient data as well as access to the medical literature that doctors need for patient treatment. This enables healthcare professionals to compare and evaluate patient data more quickly. As a result, patients can receive faster treatment, and it also promotes better decision-making. This work describes the electronic health record.
