The DIN VDE 0105-100 regulates what must be done to keep electrical installations and equipment in a safe condition, to avoid adverse external influences on the installations and equipment, to prevent back effects of the installations and equipment on other facilities and the environment, and to carry out all activities related to the operation of electrical installations safely. This book explains the standard DIN VDE 0105-100:2015-10 "Operation of Electrical Installations." The standard also contains the substantive content of the German version EN 50110-1:2013. A key objective of DIN VDE 0105-100 is the continuous improvement of occupational safety and, consequently, the prevention of accidents during the operation of electrical installations.
