Wisecracker

Distribution is handled by the Book Center. Wisecracker is what Hans Bollmann calls this collection of quotes and sayings that have particularly caught his attention over the years at various times. He considers them to be especially clever, particularly apt, and/or particularly funny. The collection is intended to inspire further personal thoughts, as those are ultimately what truly matter. The illustrations are by the artist Satoshi Hashimoto, who adds a fresh touch to the quotes with his elegant line work and subtle humor. The quotes come from philosophers, thinkers, and nonconformists—mostly in German, but also in English, French, Italian, and Latin.
