In 2023, the VOB Supplement was published, featuring 21 new and revised ATV of the VOB, including ATV DIN 18340 and the technically revised ATV DIN 18299. This may lead to interpretative leeway that complicates practical application. For this reason, DIN Media now offers an updated commentary on both documents, ensuring clarity in definitions. Like its successful predecessors, the commentary is highly practice-oriented and addresses questions and clarifications that arise in daily work.

The following changes have been made:

• Quality levels of plastering have been moved to the appendix
• Execution of ceiling coverings and suspended ceilings has been consolidated
• Partition walls and facing shells have been divided into multiple work steps
• New sections on dry plaster and the ancillary service "loose covering" have been added

Additionally, new illustrations have been included in the Beuth commentary to enhance clarity and optimize applicability. New examples can also be found in the current, updated 5th edition of "Drywall Work."
