Berlin, June 7, 1942. A corpse is discovered on a park bench near the Victory Column. At first, everything points to suicide. However, Commissioner Tom Sydow is not entirely convinced. Especially since the deceased is a "big shot" from the Gestapo. The anticipated trouble quickly arises, as Sydow insists on a thorough autopsy. This is a measure that his adversary, Gestapo Obersturmführer Moebius, tries by all means to prevent. His only goal is to regain possession of the files that the deceased had hidden on the orders of intelligence chief Reinhard Heydrich. But not only the Gestapo and Sydow are after the explosive documents. A ruthless race for possession of Heydrich's "poison cabinet" begins...
