Utopia Avenue

Author: David MitchellDavid Mitchell, born in 1969 in Southport, Lancashire, studied literature at the University of Kent, then lived in Sicily and Japan. He is one of those polyglot British authors whose topic is nothing less than the whole world. His work has been honoured with the John Lelewellyn Rhys Prize, among others, and he has twice been shortlisted for the Booker Prize. In 2011 he received the Commonwealth Writers' Prize for "The Thousand Autumns of Jacob de Zoet" and in 2015 the World Fantasy Award for "The Bone Clocks". His global bestseller "The Cloud Atlas" was made into a film by Tom Tykwer and the Wachowski siblings. David Mitchell lives with his wife and two children in Clonakilty, Ireland.
