Anne Ameri-Siemens (March 6, 1974, in Frankfurt am Main) is a German author. Anne Siemens studied political science and has been dealing with German terrorism for many years. She was an editor at the magazine jetzt of the Süddeutsche Zeitung and works as a freelance author for various publications, including the Süddeutsche Zeitung and the Tagesspiegel. Additionally, she is a lecturer at Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich. Her 2007 book "Für die RAF war er das System, für mich der Vater" gained nationwide attention. The book focuses on the victims of left-wing terrorism. Excerpts were published in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, and FAZ publisher Frank Schirrmacher dedicated a comprehensive article to the book on the front page of the Feuilleton. Reviews also appeared in all other major daily newspapers and magazines.
