Target group: Beginners without previous knowledge. Aim: Introduction to Arabic writing and development of reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. Concept: The book consists of 20 lesson units. Each lesson consists of a text (spoken or written) introducing the new grammar material and vocabulary. The total vocabulary amounts to 1,600 words, which are vocabulary throughout. A wide range of exercises enables learners to acquire new knowledge and consolidate what they already know. From lesson 2 onwards, the Arabic script is introduced in systematic steps. By lesson 15 the texts are fully vocalized.
