Uso Múltiple y Valorización del Bosque Nativo (Chaco Árido Argentino)

"Multiple Use and Valuation of Native Forests (Argentine Arid Chaco)" is a specialized book that addresses the economic and financial assessment of the use and appreciation of native forests in Argentina. In light of the alarming deforestation rate of 30,000 hectares per year, this work presents an innovative system for the sustainable use of forests. The authors, Sonia Cecilia Calvo, María Laura Salvador, and Rubén Omar Coirini, analyze the impacts of silvopastoral practices on the income situation of producers in two income groups. The implementation of these practices not only improves agricultural and forestry production but also creates opportunities for the extraction and marketing of rubber and carbon sequestration. The results indicate that the application of these methods enables significant income increases for producers, contributing to poverty alleviation while promoting forest conservation.
